When faced with an acute injury, one of the most common applications for healing is the RICE protocol: rest, ice, compress and elevate.
Unfortunately, this procedure doesn’t consider the body’s natural inflammatory mechanisms. The inflammatory response is designed to increase temperature in the injured area, ramping up the body’s natural enzyme activity.
Proteolytic enzymes are manufactured by the body to break down proteins in the bloodstream. Increased enzyme activity, in the presence of heat, enables the removal of proteins which are dead, damaged or do not belong. This removal process is recognized by the body and may be indicated by fever. Removal of such stressors allows the body to transition into recovery.
MyoMend offers a unique blend of vegetarian enzymes and rutin. This high-potency enzyme blend includes plant enzymes bromelain and papain along with protease, serratiopeptidase, nattokinase and catalase enzymes. This combination of ingredients assists with capillary, tissue and muscle function, as well as promoting healthy inflammatory responses for cardiovascular well-being.
Capillary blood flow plays a major role in generating a healthy inflammatory response. Small blood vessels are responsible for carrying oxygen and nutrients to the cells while removing waste. After an injury, some of these capillaries may be damaged making them incapable of carrying fluid to and from damaged tissue. Research studies suggest proteolytic enzymes such as nattokinase and serratiopeptidase, support healthy circulation and speed recovery. Proteases may also contributed to the expulsion of harmful particles by stimulating phagocytes (cell that ingest foreign particles and debris) and accelerating elimination by way of the lymphatic system.
Fibrin is a protein in the blood produced in response to inflammation. This protein is essential to stop excess blood loss in the event of bodily trauma or injury. Excessive inflammation due to injury may encourage cross-linked fibrin to circulate through the bloodstream and stick to the walls of blood vessels. The nattokinase enzyme blend in MyoMend supports healthy circulation by breaking down fibrin and helping increase antioxidant activity. Nattokinase NSK-SD, sourced from the fermented soy bean product natto, has been the subject of 17 studies. Two small clinical trials associated with some studies showed results indicating a heightened ability to dissolved blood clots and promote healthy blood pressure.
Serratiopeptidase, like nattokinase, functions as a proteolytic and fibrinolytic enzyme. The enzyme offers support for healthy circulation by accelerating tissue repair to calm joint discomfort and maintain balanced secretion of interstitial fluid.
The tropical plant enzymes bromelain, from pineapple, and papain, from papaya, have an established history for supporting healthy inflammation, circulation and recovery. Typically more active in an elevated temperature, these enzymes may be effective in supporting the bodyís immune system during inflammatory responses. Recent research indicates beneficial effects of tropical plant enzymes for joint health.
Rutin is an antioxidant found in various fruits and vegetables and from leaves of several plant species. Research also indicates the benefits of rutin in combination with bromelain for joined health.

Even individuals with healthy diets may experience digestive difficulty from time to time.
These difficulties often manifest in a variety of symptoms including occasional gas, bloating, indigestion, abdominal discomfort, distention, irregularity or general food intolerance.
While antacids and laxatives may be used to treat symptoms, they fail to address the underlying cause of impaired digestion. Continuous use of such symptom suppressors may result in dependency, among other side effects.
Complete Digestion provides digestive support from a blend of digestive enzymes, probiotics and nutraceuticals. The combination provides critical support for a healthy intestinal environment and works to aid impaired digestion, the fundamental cause of intestinal disturbance.
Enzymes are the most effective tools made by the body to help digestion and the assimilation of nutrients. Nutrients supplied to the body are used as energy for various biological processes. When there is an insufficient quantity of digestive enzymes present in the body, undigested food may pass into the large intestine and be acted upon by intestinal flora. Byproducts of bacterial digestion and yeast fermentation include hydrogen, carbon dioxide and methane gas. The consequence of this combination results in symptoms like occasional gas, bloating and discomfort or indigestion. Enzyme supplementation encourages healthy digestion of proteins, fats, fibers and carbohydrates, in addition to promoting an optimally functioning Gl tract.
Probiotics support regularity, aid the immune system, produce digestive enzymes and manufacture essential vitamins such as B and K. Supplemental probiotics promote an environment where beneficial microflora thrive. Complete Digestion contains 125 million active probiotic cultures in each capsule.
– Full spectrum enzyme supplement
– Vegetarian enzyme, probiotic and nutraceutical formula
– Support optimal digestion and intestinal wellbeing
– Soothe occasional indigestion, gas and bloating
– 125 million active probiotic cultures per capsuleThe probiotics in Complete Digestion fuel the digestive process to produce additional lactase, protease and amalase enzymes upon delivery to the lower GI tract. These enzymes offer synergistic benefis to the full spectrum formula, promoting optimal digestive health. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is produced in every cell. It is found in all raw foods and is the body’s natural source of energy. Supplementing with ATP complements a healthy diet by increasing the energy potential of the foods consumed. It is also a primary signaling molecule for healthy cellular process. One such process is the necessary production of Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) in the stomach, which supports protein digestion. ATP is instrumental for cells to benefit from the nutrition found in food. Without ATP, nutrients wouldn’t be able to pass through its membrane.
Stressors such as age and exercise can diminish ATP levels, Supplementing with ATP and ingredients that support ATP production can increase the body’s natural production. Supplementation may also decrease the energy demand of the digestive process, support nutrient absorption and improve HCL activity in the upper GI.

Healthy circulation depends on proper blood clotting and appropriate formation of fibrin, a protein in the blood produced as a response to inflammation. Fibrin is essential to stop excess blood loss in the event of bodily trauma or injury. As the vascular system is triggered with increased inflammation, the body’s inflammatory response is activated and fibrin is produced. Excessive cross-linked fibrin circulates through the bloodstream and may stick to the walls of blood vessels.
Nattokinase Pro™ employs a specialized approach to maintaining cardiovascular health.* While there are more than twenty enzymes in the body that assist in clotting the blood, there is only one capable of digesting clots (plasmin). The Nattokinase blend in Nattokinase Pro™ includes NSK-SD®, the only form of nattokinase that does not contain vitamin K2, to support healthy circulation by breaking down fibrin and increasing antioxidant activity.* Nattokinase NSK-SD®is sourced from the fermented soy bean product natto, and has been the subject of 17 studies. Included in these scientific studies are two small clinical trials with results indicating a heightened ability to dissolve blood clots and promote healthy blood pressure.* 1,2,3
Early research of nattokinase was done by Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi, a researcher for the Japan Ministry of Education. He found that a part of the Japanese fermented soybean food known as natto exhibited strong fibrinolytic activity, meaning simply that it is effective in breaking down fibrin, a protein that is involved in clotting the blood.4 He named the enzyme responsible for this activity ‘nattokinase.’ Dr. Sumi later commented that nattokinase showed “a potency matched by no other enzyme.”
Nattokinase Pro™ contains cellulase, amylase, protease and lipase Thera-blend™ enzymes. Thera-blend is an exclusive process that combines multiple strains of enzymes that work in specific pH levels, resulting in superior performance in the body. *
